Travel Demand in USA Remains Undeterred by Inflation

Travel demand in the U.S. has exceeded pre-pandemic levels for both inbound and outbound bookings in Summer 2023 compared to the same period in 2019. Despite soaring flight prices and increasing average daily rates (ADRs), travelers remain undeterred by inflation. As such, leisure travel demand from the U.S. is at an all-time high, and business travel is also back on track. There is a surge in demand for business travel from the U.S. to Europe, and inbound travel to the U.S. has also shown large growth. Let’s take a closer look at how Summer 2023 travel bookings compare to previous years.
